SouthPark Funeral Home 1310 North Main Pearland, Texas 77581 281-485-2711 Winston Fuller, 87, went to be with our Lord in Heaven and his loving wife, August 5, 2009. He was born in Olney, Oklahoma to Thomas J. and Leler Fuller. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Irene Goff Fuller in June 2009, one sister, Lucretia Whisenhunt and three brothers, Victor Fuller, Louis Fuller, and Wayne Fuller. He is survived by four sisters Wanda Baker, Maxine Carlock, Thelma McBride, and Joyce Wayman and one brother, Tom Fuller of Corsicana, TX and he is survived by children, James Clayton Fulwood and Wife Marlys of Oklahoma City, OK., and Ralph Buster Fulwood and Wife Laurie of Round Rock, TX, Grandchildren include Tommy Fulwood, Doug Fulwood and Wife Hope of Decatur, TX, Jacki Fulwood of Norman, OK., and Tabitha Fulwood of Oklahoma City, OK., Great-grandchildren include Emily Fulwood of Decatur, TX and James Fulwood of Oklahoma City, OK. His hobby was a loving devotion to his wife, Nellie. He was a life time and charter member of Pearland VFW Post 7109 serving as Chaplain and District 16 Deputy Chief of Staff. He was affiliated with Shadycrest Baptist Church of Pearland, TX. He served in the United States Navy as a Machinist’s Mate Third Class and was released from the United States Navy in 1946 with an honorable discharge after serving in a Construction Battalion earning a Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Philippine Liberation Ribbon. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Light House Hospice, Georgetown, TX. A visitation will be held at South Park Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 9, 2009. Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2009 at the South Park Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services with honors from the Pearland VFW will be held at the South Park Cemetery.
