To the Wolosczuk family: The other day my brother Paul and I drove around our old neighborhood in the North East end of Canton. Our houses represented our love of flowers, vegetables, fruit trees and trimmed bushes and cut grass. We shared the profits of our gardens with our friends and neighbors. Those days are gone, but the memories are still fresh and eternal even though our parents aren't with us. Sending you our love and prayers. From the Malanij family: Christina, Maria, Natalia, Paul, and our spouses

Before Father Woloszczuk became a priest, he was a Cantor at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. God gifted him with the love of prayer in song and a beautiful voice. Especially at this time of celebration of Jesus's birth, we remember him leading our small congregation in Christmas carols. There were many differences of personalities and voices, but at Christmas, we all were one as we sang in church or went Christmas caroling, thanking God for His Gift, His Son. The most important and favorite carol at the end of Liturgy was "God Eternal/Boh Predvichniy". When my family gathers together on Christmas Eve, we will remember your father, in song, as we carol at the table.
Christ is Born! Glorify Him!
Sending you our love at this Holy Season and Gods' blessings in the New Year!
From the entire Malanij Family: Christina, Maria, Natalia, Paul, along with our our mama, Luba Malanij, who is 98 years old.

Fr. Wol was an absolute Godsend when our church, All Saints Byzantine Catholic Church in North Ft. Myers was without a permanent pastor for 10 years! His singing in Old Church Slavonic was incredibly beautiful, and I miss him.

To the Woloszczuk Family: Father Woloszczuk and your family were an extension of our family, as we gathered for birthdays, baptisms, weddings, and funerals. We could go to Father when we needed guidance and consoling. He dedicated his time and life to the Ukrainian church community, by being a spiritual teacher so we could be good examples of our faith. He had a beautiful voice, especially in singing during liturgies. There are many memories of going Christmas caroling with him and our family singing with the mandolin orchestra during special events. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to you as we remember Father Wolodymyr Woloszczuk -- Eternal Memories "Veechnayia Pamyiat". From the Malanij Family: Luba Malanij, mother; Christina and Randy Toney; Maria and Tom Skelley; Natalie and Andrew Procyk; Paul Malanij; and Mark Russo
