Wyoma L. "Cricket" Smull, 97, Marion, passed away at 2:20 pm on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. She was born in Sedalia, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 29, 1925, to Glovis Charles and Della Evans. She married Kenneth Smull on September 3, 1951, and he was the love of her life. He passed away on May 16, 2005.
Wyoma worked at Commercial Credit Corp. in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a large part of the truck driving community. She took care of the local truckers' paperwork and would often talk on her CB radio to the drivers passing through. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and everyone who knew her.
She is survived by their three children, their pride and joy: Tem (Lori) Smull of Marion, Jodella (Lin) Smull Martin of Marion, and Sheila (Greg) Smull Clouse of Marion; granddaughter, Channel (Dave) Wyatt of Upland; grandsons, Clinton (Nina) Smull of Marion, Craig (Mary Rachel) Martin of Chicago, IL, Kyle (Elise) Martin of NM, and K.C. Loer of Indianapolis; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Joe Nelson and Marilyn Lewis.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Evelyn, Francis, and Junior.
The family had private services for Wyoma with burial following at Gardens of Memory.
