Wyonne Swilley Templin

Wyonne Swilley Templin, 80, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Mrs. Templin was born in Vadosta to the late Clive Oskew Swilley and Emey Lee Christie Swilley on August 26th 1945.

A lifelong resident of Valdosta, she attended VSU where she gained a masters degree in education. After graduating, she became a school teacher in the Lowndes County School system, dedicating her life to education before retiring. She loved her family immensely, but her savior above all.

Mrs. Templin is survived by her loving husband, Larry Templin, of Valdosta; her son and daughter-in-law, Scott & Kimberly Templin, of Valdosta; her daughter and son-in-law, Stacey & Nelson Reynolds, of Holiday, TX; five grandchildren, Isaiah and Jarred Templin, and Maddie, Emma, and Ryan Reynolds; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lavon & Sharon Swilley, Donald & Carol Swilley, Leonn Swilley, Johhny & Wanda Swilley, Wayne & Maxine Swilley; and sister and brother-in-law, Sheila & Phillip Badley. She is preceded by her parents.

A memorial service for Mrs. Templin will be held on Monday, December 1 at 2 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church, with Pastor Josh Foster and Pastor Phillip Badley officiating.
