X'andre Isaiah Hood, age 27, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Il.
He was born September 08, 1996, in Decatur, to Shanta N Hood and Robert L Willis. X'andre received his high school equivalency at Richland Community College where he also was certified in Plumbing, Carpentry and Mechanical Labor.
X'andre was a hard-working young man who loved his family & always put them first. He was a bright, caring and respectable person in so many ways, he truly believed that there was "Never TOO MUCH LOVE".
He leaves to cherish X'andre Hood Jr., from Macon, Ga, Marvin Hood, X'airia Hood, Xavier Jones-Hood and Xa'Kyli Hood all from Decatur, Il.
He is survived by both of his parents and brothers, A'mon-re Hood, Leion Hood-Murphy, Keion Hood-Murphy, Kenneth Murphy Jr., Jamile Hood & Kevonte Hood all from Decatur, Il, Lindale Rieley from Florida, and sister, Kimberly Ellis from Decatur, Il., godbrother, Jeremy Hughes from Macomb, IL and a host of nieces and nephews.
X'andre was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Martha Hood, of Decatur, Il, grandparents, Jeanette E. Hood-Hedges and Eddie L Dear, Uncle Raymon Jones, and a host of cousins.
X'andre showed love to all and didn't have any enemies, he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, all his friends and family.
