I met Jack when we both were working at UWMC. I started there in 1987 and we got along quite well. I couple years later my wife's and my daughter, Nicole, danced at the Central Wisconsin School of Ballet for a couple years only but we all enjoyed it along with Waltraud and Jack running the school together. Nicole was a little mouse (or rat) in the ballet, I was one of the Russian dancers for one season. Such a pleasure. One of Nicole's first words was 'car'. She would see a car and say, "Car, car." So I told Jack that and he said, "Her first word was 'Karkar'?!" I was teasing him a bit, he was so pleased.
Many fond memories of Jack over the years.
Blessings to Jack and Waltraud and his family,
