Edcouch- Yolanda "YC" Cantu Gonzalez, 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas.
Mrs. Gonzalez was born on August 4, 1944 to Mr. Jesus Cantu Sr. and Mrs. Santos Rodriguez Cantu in Edcouch, Texas.
Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Jesus Cantu Sr. and Mrs. Santos Rodriguez Cantu; her brothers, Jesus Cantu Jr. & Jorge Cantu and her oldest granddaughter, Jennifer Lee Ybarra.
Left to cherish "YC" memories are her loving husband, Juan Gonzalez; her son, Juan Gonzalez Jr.; her daughters, Patricia Lee (Ysmael) Ybarra, Azanette Gonzalez; her brothers, Roel Cantu, Rene Cantu, Jaime Cantu, Javier Cantu; her sisters, Odilia Garcia, Sylvia Rowell; her grandchildren, Janiss Ybarra, Ysmael Ybarra Jr., Yolissah Rodriguez, Joseph Ybarra, Oscar D. Rodriguez, Marco Rodriguez, Alinah Rodriguez and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Yolanda "YC" Cantu Gonzalez is scheduled for Friday, January 27, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Fuenral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
