After school, she began working at First National Bank. Yolanda traveled extensively throughout Mexico with her parents and siblings. On one of those trips she met Everardo, who would become her husband on December 30, 1956. They were together for more than 65 years. After her wedding, she and Everardo moved to Puebla, Mexico, where they raised their family. Yolanda was a small business owner of Super San Carlos Grocery, as well as a homemaker. After 40 years in Puebla, the family moved to San Antonio Texas. Yolanda became a well-known and loved cashier at Souper Salad for 20 years. Yolanda loved going shopping, loved collecting many things, loved working in the garden, loved family dinners (her favorites were Chiles en Nogada and ice cream) and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
