Miss Montouro was my seventh grade French teacher in 1961 and 1962. I am sorry to read that she has passed away. Today, October 15th, I remember was her wedding anniversary, because she told the class she was to marry Martin Greene on 'le quinze d'Octobre', and that when she returned to school we should address her as Madame Vert. I don't know why I remember all this after 56 years, but I guess she made an impression on me. Rest in Peace, Miss Montouro.
