Yolanda passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Yolanda was a resident of Orangeburg, South Carolina at the time of passing. She was an honor graduate of the College of William and Mary and worked as an elementary school teacher and tour guide at Independence Park in Philadelphia. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018, at The Methodist Oaks Chapel, with the Reverend Meredith Dark officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Oaks on Friday, September 21, 2018.

There are so many superlatives to describe Yolands. We met in 1981 at Newcomers in Redding, CT and have been friends ever since. She was the best friend anyone could have and the nicest person I have ever met. I will miss corresponding with her and feel honored to have been her friend.
