Yolanda Orozco Obituary
Orozco of 39 years, passed away in the early hours of November 20th after a courageous
battle with cancer. She was born in Manhattan in 1963 and raised in Brooklyn and grew up
surrounded by her family; cherished by her mother; many siblings, cousin's, aunts, and
uncles.
Yoly was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time
to others, and incorporated that into her motherhood. When she met her husband Nick they
fell in love instantly, knew they both shared a love for family, and decided to start their
own. As a mother she was compassionate, generous, and loving. She never told her children
no, and spoiled them as much as she possibly could. In her free time, Yolanda loved
spending time with her loved ones, baking, and doing crafts with her grandkids. She loved
the beach, going on vacations with her family and loved shopping just ask Nick. We know
that we can't have you but we take comfort knowing that the angels have finally got you
back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother.
Yolanda is survived by her husband Nick, children Nicky (Daniela) Orozco, Amanda
(Ralph) Asala, grandchildren Sienna, Layla, Evan, parents Pura & Garcia, siblings Odette
(Kevin) Brooks, Aracelis Rivera and extended brothers and sisters, cousins Elaine Fox,
Daniel Santiago, Evelyn Flaharty, Steuben Vega, Melissa Medina and so many more.
There will be services for those who would like to say their last goodbyes to Yolanda on the 28th
and 29th of November, at De Riso Funeral Home 5012 4th Ave Brooklyn, NY 11220.

YOLANDA IS MY VERY BEST FRIEND WE WERE FRIENDS SINCE HIGH SCHOOL ,SHE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME. WE WENT TO THE BEACH AND CONEY ISLAND AND WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. I WILL MISS HER A LOT. LOVE LINDA
