Yolande L. "Laramee" Arel

Yolande L. (Laramee) Arel 91, of Woonsocket, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Marcel Arel. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Romeo and Lillian (Morel) Laramee. After raising her family, Yolande worked as a salesclerk for Riverview Furniture for many years. She was the matriarch of a large family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Marcel R. Arel and his life partner Lisette Larue of Woonsocket, Raymond Arel of Woonsocket, Madeleine Arel and her husband Milton Davis of Arroyo Grande, CA, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her siblings Lise Martineau of Woonsocket, Gerard Laramee of Salem, NJ, and Romeo Laramee Jr. of Woonsocket. She is also survived by her daughter in law Debbie Arel. She was also the mother of the late Eugene R. Arel and sister of the late Jeannine Laplume.
