Yvette Rochelle Garrison (nee Wilensky), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at the age of 78. Preceded in death by her parents Bill and Shirley Wilensky; devoted mother of Stacy (Paul) Velleca, and the late Brett (Bobbi) Hamilton; loving grandmother of Ashley (Ben) Eichenlaub, Taylor Velleca, and Page (Chris) Kelly; treasured great grandmother of Sophia and Madison Eichenlaub and Makenna Lupo.
Yvette was devoted to her children and was their biggest cheer leader. She made sure to be at all of their activities and sporting events. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. When she played bingo, she made sure to "win" stuffed animals to gift to her great granddaughters as her special gifts to them.
Yvette was a devoted member of The Crossings Church St. Charles County and was an active participant at the Wentzville Senior Center (Green Lantern). She spent her career as a personal lines insurance broker. Her passions included bingo, crocheting, sewing, cooking, enjoying a good meal with family and friends and having her Coke Zero!! She was a true Disney lover and passed this on to her family! She loved anything chocolate, especially her M&M's in later life. She had a silly sense of humor and once she started laughing it didn't stop.
She had a profound love for her cherished dogs. She loved her church "family " immensely. Mom cherished any time she spent with us and our extended family more than anything! Mom's warm presence endeared her to many, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate to know her.
Memorials may be made in Yvette's name to Alzheimer’s' Association.
