DUPLANTIE, Yvon Romeo – Peacefully at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge on Wednesday November 15, 2017. He was 87. He leaves his loving wife and best friend of 67 years, Rita Rose (Major) Duplantie. Predeceased by his parents, Ludger and Fernande (Sauve) Duplantie, 3 brothers, Fernand, Jean-Guy, Ghislain Duplantie and one sister, Carmen Duplantie-Pitre. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Yvon's wishes, cremation has taken place. No visitation of funeral service. A private Rite of Committal at Nativity Cemetery will be held at a later date. If so desired, contributions (by cheque) in Yvon's memory to the Alzheimer Society (local chapter) or the Glen Stor Dun Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
