Von was born on September 16, 1937, in Delta, Utah to Unity and Earl Willden. Von grew up in Delta Utah with 3 sisters and one brother. Von loved camping and fishing and never missed an opportunity to hunt crawdads with her grandkids. She enjoyed gardening and growing those tomatoes she loved so much. Von lived and worked in Salt Lake for many years before moving to California where she worked staffing area hospitals with nursing staff.
But she couldn't stay away from Utah and her large family, so she returned and lived out the last 30 years of her life to be close to her siblings.
Von is survived by her son Steve (Trish) Isern Vernal, Utah; daughter Carol (Raymond) Grawey Taylorsville, Utah; Brother Dean Willden Bluffdale, Utah; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and dad, sisters Myrle Fackrell, MarJean McCollin and Ranae Boulton, brother's in-law Norm Fackrell and Max McCollin and nephews Curtis and Bruce McCollin.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Elevation Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Von in her final days.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, April 13th at 2pm at Larkin Mortuary, 3688 W 12600 South Riverton Utah.
