Yvonne Michelle Manganaro was born on August 21, 1973 in Duarte, California. She lived in Hacienda Heights with her parents James and Barbara Cooprider where she would reside until early adulthood.
She graduated from Wilson High School in 1991 where she was involved in the Thespian Club. She was also an integral part of the Wilson Academic Team that competed in the Los Angeles County Academic Decathlon answering all of her questions correctly. Following graduation she attended Santa Monica College for her undergrad studies, then transferred to UCLA. There she attained a Bachelors Degree in Marketing with a second in History. She studied Strategies at the UCLA Anderson School of Management with her MBA in 2002. Yvonne was a research and teaching assistant at UCLA Anderson from 1993-2003.
Yvonne was very successful acquiring the position of Director of Marketing at Gelsons Market in September of 2003. She then moved to Vice President of marketing from April 2017 through July 2024.
She met her future husband, Federico Manganaro in Italy. They were married in California on July 25, 2008. They were blessed with the birth of their son, Luca Paolo Wayne Manganaro on January 20, 2012. Yvonne was a dedicated mother who encouraged Luca to try different sports and activities. She supported him in everything he was involved in and was eager to encourage him to succeed in his upcoming challenges in High School.
Yvonne loved every genre of music and loved to dress the part. She also had a love for the Theatre. But Yvonne had an insatiable obsession with Genealogy. She researched and traced descendants from both sides of her mothers’ and fathers’ families. She could remember dates, names and where they originated and loved to visit these places. It was truly remarkable.
Yvonne was a beautiful brilliant and witty woman who had a selfless soul. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and friend to everyone. She touched our lives and will be missed forever.
She leaves behind her husband Federico, son Luca, and Mother and Father, Barbara and James, along with extended family and friends.
