Yvonne (Moore) Wheeler, 87 of McMinnville, Tennessee, and formerly of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville.
Yvonne was born on Thursday, October 7, 1937, in East Bernstadt, Kentucky, and she was the daughter of the late George "Dewey" Moore and the late Cora Mae (Hampton) Moore.
Yvonne was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, Memaw, aunt, and friend. She was a wonderful Christian example and attended Willow Avenue Church of Christ for many years. She spent her last years happily traveling with her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Yvonne was loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
Yvonne is survived by, 2 Daughters, Deborah Vinson and Pamela Blackwell and her husband, David; 4 Grandchildren, Derek Vinson and his wife, Katrina, Erica Vinson, Justin Blackwell and his wife, Lara, and Kenneth Blackwell and his wife, Courtney; 5 Great-Grandchildren, Bryant. Raylee, Britain, Colton, and Chandler; A host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by, Husband of 48 years, Willie D. Wheeler; Son, Willie Wheeler, Jr.; Son-In-Law, Larry Vinson.
Yvonne chose cremation, the family followed her wishes, and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
