Zachariah Roosevelt Williams entered into eternal peace on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Zachariah was born on May 22, 1986 in Syracuse, NY to Roland S. Williams and Carla McKay. Zachariah was raised in Virginia Beach, VA, then Richmond Virginia by Carla McKay and Donald J Jackson, his stepfather. Zach as he is lovingly called, is also survived by his older brothers, Donald J Jackson II, and Justin E Taylor.
Zach attended Elizabeth City State University, where he met Shaquera Mayfield, and from that union Elijah Zachariah Williams was born. Elijah Z. Williams is Zack’s pride and joy. That also has two stepdaughters, Ciana and Ariana Young-Sang.
Zach was raised by a loving village, his paternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Jenny Williams. Zach and his paternal Aunt Janice Williams. Zach also has his maternal grandmother, Arletha McKay, Aunts, Terry, Lundy, and Kim Carter and Uncle Thurman, and his Aunt Mary, who were always in the background for whatever is that needed. Zach will be remembered for his love of life, strength, and wisdom.
