Zachary Klein Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 13, 2025.
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Zachary "Zac" Wayne Klein on December 11, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, Zac faced every challenge in life with strength, courage, and unwavering determination.
Zac's life was marked by hard work, resilience, and a heart that never stopped giving. As an avid outdoorsman, Zac made a lasting impact on the hunting community. He served as a hunter safety instructor, teaching not only safe practices but also respect and compassion. He founded the Central Maryland Chapter of Delta Waterfowl, championing conservation, education, and support for both youth hunters and wounded veterans. To many, he was a mentor, a leader, and a loyal friend.
Zac found peace in nature and joy in capturing its beauty through photography. Whether photographing wildlife, chasing the perfect sunset, or walking through the woods, he saw the world with appreciation and patience. His most unexpected joy in life came from being Paps to his granddaughters.
Zac is survived by his loving wife, Debra Klein; his children, Cameron Klein (AJ Prevost) and Madison (Nathan) Taylor; his cherished granddaughters, Everly and Ella; his mother, Tina Klein; his brother, Jason (Natasha) Klein; in-laws, Levine and Susan Glover; sister-in-law, Melissa (Jesse) Barnes; sister in law Lisa (Eric) Wetzel; and his adored nieces and nephews: Piper and Jesse Barnes, and Colby and Casen Wetzel. He is preceded in death by his father, William "Bob" Klein Jr.
To know Zac was to know generosity, loyalty, humor, and a heart that showed up for others before they ever had to ask. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the communities he served, and the family he loved so deeply.
We will forever carry his light with us.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Due notice of time will be given.
The family is asking in lieu of flowers to please consider donating to Zac's GoFundMe to help cover expenses.
