ZECCHIN – Zachary Robert Zecchin, 24, passed away on September 22, 2022 after a tragic motorcycle accident. Born December 1, 1997 in Torrington; the cherished son of Jamie Zecchin of New Hartford.
Zack graduated from Gilbert High School, Class of 2016. He worked for Hinman Lumber since his high school graduation and was a valued employee. He enjoyed free style BMX, motorcycles, off roading in his Toyota, bowling and had a deep love for animals.
Zack was an incredible, kind soul that was loyal, strong and hard working. He was just a good guy and his family is obviously devastated by this tremendous loss.
In addition to his dad and friend, Jamie, he leaves his brother, Joshua Zecchin, sister, Hailey Zecchin; grandparents, Robert and Adriene Zecchin; aunt and uncle, Michelle and Jim Prybylski; longtime girlfriend, Kaitlyn Sherokow; and many friends. A beautiful life that came to an early end. Zach died as he lived, everyone's friend. His memory will always be kept, of one we loved and will never forget.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Northwest CT Rod and Gun Club in Canaan at 12 PM. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted has care of the arrangements. Visit an online guestbook at montano-shea.com.
