Zacheriah L. Jarvis

Zacheriah Lynch Jarvis, born on April 15, 1995, in Windber, PA was sent to his eternal home on October 12, 2025, in Pittsburgh, PA unexpectedly. He was the beloved son of Christine Jarvis.

Zach, as he was known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.

Zach is survived by his loving mother and stepfather, Christine Jarvis and Chuck Hall, his grandparents (Jim and Marge Jarvis), his uncle and aunt Jim and Erica Jarvis, and cousins Rocco and Gabby. He is survived by many aunts, uncles and a host of cousins who shared in his joyful spirit. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathryn.

After his graduation from North Hills High School, Zach prepared for his accounting career at Robert Morris University. For nearly two years, Zach has worked as an accountant at Carnegie Mellon University.

Outside of work, Zach found joy in hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being on the river and spending time with family and friends.

Those who knew Zach will remember him for his infectious smile, his laugh, his outdoorsmanship, his affinity for politics, and for his deep-rooted faith in Jesus. He has left a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.

Although Zach's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue on with us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Ave. West View, PA 15229. A funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church 920 Perry Highway Pittsburgh, PA 15229 on Saturday at 10am.
