Zbigniew Jan Kaczmarek

Zbigniew Jan "John" Kaczmarek, 66, of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 4, 2025, in his home, with his family by his side. He was born September 6, 1958, in Sliwno, Poland, a son of the late Kazimierz and Maria Slaboszewska Kaczmarek. John lived in the Canonsburg area since 2000 and was a faithful member of St. Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church. He was a self-employed computer engineer and enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. On April 28, 1984, he married Barbara M. Buszta, who survives after 41 years together. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved children, Patricia M. Kaczmarek of Canonsburg and Peter J. Kaczmarek of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Jacek (Alexandra) Kaczmarek of South Carolina, and Piotr (Hanna) Kaczmarek of Poland; and several nieces, nephews and other family members in Poland. Family and friends are welcome from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday, September 7, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, (724) 745-8120, where departing prayers will be recited at 9:40 a.m. Monday, September 8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
