Zelma Mae Frith

Funeral Services for Zelma Mae Frith will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Walnut Grove Church, located at 1936 Cooney Bonnett Road in Eros, LA with Bro. Tim Shapley officiating. Family will accept friends for visitation from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Friday, January 2, 2026 at the church. Interment will follow the service at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Zelma was born on August 27, 1949, in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on December 28, 2025, in Shreveport, LA at the age of 76.
She enjoyed crocheting in her spare time, or making table dollips. She loved what-nots, and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She was a quite spirit overall but did enjoy chatting on the phone with her friends.
Zelma is preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Frith; parents, Eva and Augustine Trichel; brother, Wayne Trichel; nephew, Matthew Trichel; niece, Tonya Trichel; cousin Louise Johnson; Brother-in-laws, Jimmy Frith, Johnny Frith; sister-in-law, Merline Adkins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Glenn Frith and wife Kay; Sabrina Frith; brother, Louis Trichel and wife Dianne of Shreveport, LA; sister-in-law, Jean Frith; aunts, Annette Freeman and Mary; three grandchildren, James, Allen and Randy Frith; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Erik Frith.
Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Frith, Ricky Frith, Steve Johnson and Gary Thomas.
