Zenaida Johnson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Schertz, Texas on July 28, 2025, with her loving husband, Russell Johnson by her side. She was born on November 18, 1950, in Mabalacat Pampanga, Philippines, to Emilio and Antonina Herrera, who preceded her in death.
Zenaida's vibrant life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She is survived by her devoted spouse, Russell Johnson, her cherished daughter, Michelle Gibson and her son in law, Sean Gibson. The joys of her life were amplified by her grandchildren, Christian and Madilyn Gibson. She is also survived by her loving siblings; Geronimo "Flodie" Herrera, Francisco "Obo" Herrera, Eduardo "Ed" Herrera, and Glorioso "Larry" Herrera, along with their spouses. Zenaida also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who adored her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emilio and Antonina Herrera, grandchild, Madyson Gibson, and siblings; Daniel "Boy" Herrera, Roberto "Berto" Herrera, Nicolas "Ti" Herrera, and Josefina "Bada" Mendoza.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Schertz Funeral Home in Schertz, Texas, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM.
Zenaida Johnson's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her for her warmth, love, and unwavering support.
