Zenaida Navarro

Zenaida Navarro, age 69, of El Paso, TX, passed away peacefully on January 1st, 2025 at Providence Memorial East surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on October 11th, 1955 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico to Felipe Navarro and Herminia Villalongo. Zenaida was a dedicated and loving mother to her son and a passionate grandmother to her granddaughters. She graduated from Antillian College in Mayaguez, PR with a degree in Nursing and spent her career as a Registered Nurse at the Veterans Medical Center and St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, DC along with the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, VA. Zenaida was passionate about helping her family and friends with everything she had. She was charismatic and loving to everyone she encountered. Her greatest hobby was creating decorations for special events and gatherings. She is survived by her son Jean-Pierre Loya, daughter-in-law Anibel Loya, granddaughter's Serenity Grace Loya, Sarah Rose Loya, sister Yolanda Navarro and niece Zenith Carrion. A funeral service will be held at Perches Funeral Home-East 2280 Joe Battle Blvd. El Paso, TX 79938 on Friday, January 10th, 2025 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
