Zenaida P. Sartaguda

Zenaida Peciller Sartaguda, 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in Pensacola, Florida. Born in Manila, Philippines, she later immigrated to the United States with her husband Inocencio, where she built a life centered on faith and family. Zenaida was the heart of her family and devoted herself to caring for those she loved; she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, whose selflessness and warmth touched all who knew her. Her gentle spirit and deep love for her family will be remembered, along with her quiet strength, unwavering compassion, and generosity. She was a founding member of the Filipino-American Association and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Gary P. Sartaguda, Jennifer P. Sartaguda, Claire S. Atchison (Glenn), and Inocencio A. Sartaguda Jr.; grandchildren, Cece A. Sartaguda, Jarren A. Sartaguda, Ian B. Atchison, and Emma C. Atchison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Inocencio Sartaguda; parents, Manuel Peciller and Genoveva De Jesus Peciller; brothers, Lito Peciller, Benjamin Peciller, Jesus Peciller, Antonio Peciller, and Angel Peciller; sister, Glorio P. Rice.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Faith Chapel South from 5:00-7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, December 18, 2025. at St. Mary Catholic Church at 11:00 AM and followed by a reception in the church hall at 12:00 noon. Burial will be Friday, December 19, 2025. Family and friends will meet at Faith Chapel 10:00 AM, with the procession departing at 10:30 AM to Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola.
