A graveside service for Ziltha "Jane" Gragert" Bower", age 93, of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the Pond Creek Cemetery, with the Reverend Vernon Lee officiating. Service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Jane was born on June 14, 1931 in Pond Creek OK to Roy and Gladys "Hull" Sharkey, and passed away on January 31, 2025 in Enid.
Jane grew up in the Pond Creek area, and attended and graduated from Pond Creek High School, she played varsity basketball, was a member of the High School band, and engaged in typical farm life west of Pond Creek.
She briefly attended OSU in Stillwater, OK, she was a manager at a retail grocery outlet in Lamont, OK.
Jane was proceeded in death by her parents; husbands Albert Bower, and John Gragert; siblings, Anne Sharkey, Roy Sharkey Jr., and Betty Turner. She is survived by two sons, Larry Bower, Terry Bower and wife Denese; five grandchildren, Shannon Bower-Bannon, Brandon Bower, Amanda Bower, Stephen Bower, Natalie Sullivan, and Steven Christian; eleven great-grandchildren, Austin, Blake, Cody, Riley, Severin, Dameon, Alicia, Carson, Carlie, Kayla, and Stephen; five great great-grandchildren; Mila, Paxtyn, Bennett, Rhett, and Attica.
Memorials in Janes name can be made to the American Cancer Society with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
