Barbara J. Meyer

1929 - 2022

Barbara J. Meyer, 93, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Born February 4, 1929 in Decatur, Indiana to the late Anthony and Edna (Miller) Gase. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church for several years. Barb enjoyed sewing, crocheting, puzzles, cooking, baking, and shopping. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her grandchildren, Kristy (Kent) Stemen (Tyler, Katie, Alan Michael), James J. (Shelly) Meyer III (Zachari, James IIII, and Trinity), and Deborah (Brian) Minnick (Savannah and Adrienne); and three siblings. She was also preceded in passing by her husband, James Meyer; sons, James Meyer II and Robert Meyer; and seven siblings. A Mass of Christian burial will held at 10:30am on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at St. Henry Catholic Church, 2929 E. Paulding Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4:00-7:00 pm at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819.
