Ronnie and family, Rex introduced me to pickleball. He was so energetic, enthusiastic and encouraging. His love for the game was infectious. And five years later, I am still playing. He and Ronnie were awesome. He´ll be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to family.

I have had trouble coming up with the words to describe the amazing Mr. Rex Riepe. He was a great. A great man, educator, but most importantly a man with the heart of gold that would strive to make you better each day. Perfection was not necessary yet it was a mathematical goal because the numbers never lie. Rex thank thank thank you for giving us kiddos that drove you up the wall in pranks and fun but to make us better adults and parents dealing with educators that definitely aren't of your caliber. You may have left this planet as we know it, but oh the reunion in paradise will be mighty. Thank you dear friend and saving grace to many.

There´s no way for me to adequately express the sadness that I feel for the loss of my dear friend, Rex Riepe. Rex truly was my best friend from the first day I met him. He was a friend, mentor and confidant. He truly was one of a kind and a rare find. He gave his all to anyone in need. He was the most steady, calm and level headed person I´ve ever known. His passing is a tremendous loss to all who were privileged to know him but even a greater loss to those who didn´t. My dear friend, you inspired and made everything you ever touched better. I will miss you beyond belief. Soar high and watch over us all until we meet again. What a reunion that will be!

As we grow older, we think back of people we have known and realize a few were so good and so special that they might have been angels sent to be in our lives at a particular time. Rex Riepe was such a person to me. I know of few people who got life the way that he did. For those of us lucky to know him, we know he was a selfless, giving person who was always willing to help others. He worked hard and he played hard. His positive attitude toward life was an inspiration. Although my heart is sad and empty because he has left this earth, it is hard to cry for a life so well lived. As I grow old myself, I hope I can use the inspiration he provided to live a great life until we meet again. May God bless Ronnie and all others who knew Rex Riepe.

Rex was a great friend of ours. I remembered how kind he was when I first moved to Cape Girardeau. He helped me a lot, introduced me with his Pickleball friends, helped me and Kevin for our wedding.
I feel so honored when he asked me to be a photographer of his wedding. I always remember how friendly and cheerful he was in any occasion. I learned from him how to bring positive energy to surroundings. We will miss you, Rex..

I love you, Mr. Riepe. You were one of the best. I´m a math teacher now, and told my kids just yesterday how bad I stunk at math team. But you always made everything fun. You made a difference.

Ronnie and family, I worked with Rex at AJ for 10 years. He was part of my sanity. As I am sure you know he was an amazing caring person who was always there to help me in tough times and laugh with me in the good times. My dog Brogan owes her life to him-we we´re hiking at State Forest and she was bitten by a snake. Knowing y´all lived right there I called him and he met me at the trail head and rushed us into town to the vet. The world has lost a truly great man.

I had the privilege of sitting in Rex´s classroom and also calling him coworker. I appreciated him in both capacities (though he and I both knew my math skills were impressively nonexistent). As a coworker, he was supportive, encouraging, and excellent with a distraction (when necessary). I wish I would´ve told him how much I appreciated our conversations in my early days of teaching...and how much I needed that encouragement.

I had Mr.Riepe as my Geometry teacher at AJ and I consider myself to be extremely lucky to him!! He was such a delight and an inspiration to me! He and I both loved the Kentucky Wildcat basketball team!! We were always discussing the team and how well they would be during March Madness! My mom and I were fortunate that we had went to Marshall County high school for a scrimmage game with several of the players, former and current. I had to make sure that I also got their autographs just for him!! I will never forget him!! Love you Mr. Riepe!! You were the best!

I am an engineer today because of the time, energy and kindness Mr. Reipe poured into me as a teacher. I had always hoped to run into him again someday to thank him. I hope he would be proud of what I have accomplished with the gifts he gave me. I will miss you, Mr. Reipe.

Mr Riepe easily became one of my favorite teachers at Vienna for the short time he was there. In that short time he really brought so much joy to students with his silly antics and his contagious smile. Me and a couple friends would play pickleball with him constantly after class. I still think about those memories when I think back to my high-school days. One of the only few reasons I missed high-school was because of him. He will be greatly missed and was loved by so many. He impacted several students lives.

Simply the best. Loved him. He cared about his students as individual human beings facing unique circumstances. Very few teachers were able to do that. He will be very missed.

Rex was a wonderful friend and an absolute blast to have as a co worker. He took my son under his wing and taught him all he knew about computers and Information Technology. I will be forever grateful to Rex for everything. He will be sorely missed.

Mr Riepe was by far my favorite teacher at AJ. His energy was contagious. I will always cherish playing basketball with him game after game. Rex Riepe, you will be missed. There never has been and never will be another one like you again.
