Zula Inez Goswick Brown Mooney, age 92, of Dalton, passed away peacefully on

Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Ridgewood Manor with her family by her side.

Born on May 5, 1933, in Redwine Cove, South Whitfield, she was the daughter of

the late Horace Levi Goswick and Annie Mae Green Goswick. Inez dedicated her

working career to the textile industry, serving as a Quality Assurance

Representative. She was a devoted member of Faith Worship Center and lived her

life with faith, love, and joy.

Inez found happiness in tending her flower garden, crocheting, and working jigsaw

puzzles. Above all, she cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Known affectionately as a "firecracker," she was full of spunk and brought

laughter, energy, and warmth to everyone around her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sarah Goswick

and Mary Lou Goswick McGee, and her son, Terry Russell Brown.

She is survived by her children, Tim (Kim) Brown, Joey Brown, Pam (Joe) Bryant,

Lisa Brown and special friend Jesse Fraire, and Mandy (Jamie) Mantooth; 15

grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;

nephew, Butch Nelson; niece, Betty Shoemaker; and many other beloved relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM in

the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Marlow officiating. Burial

will follow at Faith Worship Center. The family will receive friends on Sunday,

November 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Dalton Funeral Home.
