Betty Ruth Campbell

1947 - 2021

Betty Ruth Campbell passed away peacefully on April 17, 2021 at the age of 73. Betty was born in Vallejo on September 18, 1947. She attended school and spent most of her life in Vallejo. Betty was a legal secretary during her working years and was very involved in the Legal Secretaries Association of Solano County. Most recently she had been happily retired and living in Napa. She enjoyed cross stitch and made many beautiful items for friends and family. She played puzzles and loved to read. With her keen intelligence, everyone wanted Betty on their team during a game of Trivial Pursuits or other game that required extensive knowledge.

Betty was predeceased by her mother and father. She is survived by many cousins across the United States. Although Betty did not have children, she devoted her attention to the two young cousins who lived near her. The family is grateful to Betty's caregiver for the care she gave Betty the last few years, and for the friendship they shared. Betty will be cremated at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa, California and buried next to her mother, Ruth Campbell, in the family plot in Citronelle, Alabama. A gathering of family and friends will be planned at a later date.

I have many memories of Betty, I remember after she bought the mobile home after her mom died, always getting shocked every time I opened the door... I hated that door... condolences to her cousins, she talked about you often.
