Edward Herman

1951 - 2023

Edward "Ed" Herman, 72, of Napa, California, set sail on his final voyage on September 26, 2023. He navigated through life with love, laughter, and was an anchor of strength. With a heart as big as the Golden Gate Bridge, Ed was a loving husband, a dear uncle, and a strong, yet sweet, presence in the lives of many.

Survived by his sister-in-law Pam Burkard, niece Jenna Burkard, niece Sara Concholar, great nephew MJ, great niece Sierra, and a tribe of cherished friends. Ed's departure leaves a void that can never be filled.

Ed's journey through life was marked by his service in the Navy. He also made waves in his career, working at Bay Alarm. And later owning TelStar Alarm Company with his family. In his free time, Ed enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife Debbi, especially to Hawaii, Shingletown, and Roatan. Exploring new places and creating lasting memories was a passion of theirs. Together, they created memories that glittered like sun-kissed waves.

To celebrate Ed's remarkable life, a memorial will take place on Friday, October 20th, 2023, at 5pm. Join us at the Elks Lodge, located at 2840 Soscol Ave, Napa, CA 94558, as we raise a glass and share stories that will make you smile through tears. Edward Herman
