Fred Burns Obituary

Fred Burns IV, age 56, passed away, unexpectedly February 9, 2024 in Lakeport, Ca. He is survived by our parents, Susan and Fred (Bud) Burns, Napa, siblings, Dan (Kristi), Ohio, Missey and Scott, Napa, Melinda and Jerry Prothero, Vacaville. Including a few nieces, a nephew and several cousins. He was the 3rd eldest out of 5.

Growing up in the Napa Valley, he enjoyed hanging out with the neighborhood kids riding bikes, motorcycles, watching t.v., racing cars, camping with family, however, his all-time favorite was fishing and hanging out with his younger brother, Scott.

In the latter years, he was a balloon chaser in the valley, worked at Round table pizza including other various jobs until he landed on a career of a short haul truck driver. He lived in the Lake County area for about 20 years, where he continued driving the backroads, and last but not least fishing, spending countless hours on the lakes and rivers.

The family wishes to extend an invitation to those who knew and loved him to our celebration of his life on Saturday, March 30th, from 12-4.

I am missing our calls where we gossiped about anyone and everyone. His off his off the wall stories, the way he irritated me like a brother does. He is missed.
