Jesse Albert Pittore, 84, of Napa, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, at home, surrounded by his loving wife and two beautiful sons. He fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer for the last two and half years.
Born in Napa, Jesse was the oldest son of Jesse, Sr. and Josephine Pittore. He attended St. John's Elementary School and graduated from Napa High School in 1958. He was an all-star athlete at Napa High. Jesse was inducted into the Napa High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999. Jesse had many wonderful memories from his time at Napa High.
He received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Engineering where he played football and rugby.
Jesse began his career with Bell Telephone company then Berry tours before finding his passion in real estate development. His real estate adventures took him to Phoenix where he met the love of his life, Brenda. They were together 47 years and had a life together filled with love, adventure and travel. They have two sons, Michael and Nicholas, Jesse was happiest raising his amazing sons and watching them grow to be the great men they are today.
In the 1980's Jesse co-founded Agemark Senior Living with a bold and heartfelt goal to create communities that felt like home and where older adults could thrive, not just survive. His passion and expertise in engineering and historic renovations led him to reimagine what elder care could be. This company is thriving today, and their oldest son Michael is now the CEO.
Jesse will be remembered for his quick wit and contagious smile and love of life. He adored his wife and their two sons Michael and Nicholas. He is survived by his sister Jonette Beck ( Johnnie),many sisters and brother in laws, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Jesse was a gentleman and a scholar. A private celebration of life will be held for Jesse on September 5th, 12-4pm. Please email Brenda at
