She was the youngest of 4 siblings and always referred to herself as the "baby" of the family. Kathy was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She loved her children hard and with an open heart. She considered her daughters her best friends. Her son in law, David Lanoue, quickly became the son she never had. She especially loved her grandkids, Samantha and Tucker Lanoue. She openly embraced every moment she had with them and spent regular weekly time with them to the point that they each had their own room in her house. Kathy spent years volunteering at her daughters school and later took that same passion to her grandkids school, and volunteered there as well alongside her daughter, Amy.
he was funny, spunky, bold, brave, quick witted, loving, young at heart and always ready for a good time. She loved spending time with her family, her dogs, Jilly Bean and Max, watching TV, arts and crafts, cooking and most of all playing games.
Kathy is survived by her siblings, Ed Wheeler, Linda Skipper and husband Ron, daughter Rachael Heatherly and boyfriend Chad Boerst, daughter Amy Lanoue and husband David, grandkids Samantha and Tucker Lanoue, nephew, Brian Skipper and wife Brittany and great nephews Jonah and Theo and nieces Teresa and Susie Fowler.
