Kurt (Kurtio) Walton Buehler
July 24, 1965 - Aug. 12, 2023
FAIR OAKS - Kurt died at his home in Fair Oaks, CA, on August 12, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. He was 58 years old.
He is predeceased by his father, Otto Buehler Jr. He is survived by his mother, Lolly Walton Ricci; and brother, Kyle Buehler; and nieces: Kylie and Allison Buehler. He also has many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Kurt was born in Berkeley, CA, on July 24, 1965, to his father, Otto Buehler and mother Lolly Buehler. He lived in Vallejo, CA, the first ten years of his life. His family then moved to Suisun Valley, CA. There he lived on a small ranch. There he became involved with The Suisun Valley 4-H Club, active in animal husbandry, and many other projects. He remained in 4-H until he was 18.
He attended Armijo High School, in Fairfield, CA, and graduated in 1983. He attended Solano Community College for two years, transferred to San Jose State College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising//Marketing in 1988. He worked over 30 years in technical recruiting, for many companies, the most recent being Marvell in Santa Clara.
Kurt had a well-known zest for life. He loved to laugh and brought joy and humor to his many friends. They all say Kurt was one of the funniest people they knew. His sense of humor and his laugh were infectious.
He moved to his own home in Fair Oaks, ten years ago, and enjoyed many hobbies and interests, including cars, music, cooking, gardening, museums and art, camping, and traveling. He also had property in Placerville, and enjoyed being there near his cousin, Joel, and his uncle, Larry; and aunt, Diana.
He had a deep love of God and his church community.
A Celebration of Life is planned on August 26, 2023, in Roseville, CA.
