Leora "Lee" Darlene Willoughby

1944 - 2021

Leora "Lee" Darlene Willoughby was born in Washington D.C. on June 15, 1944 to Delbert and Evelyn Wilson, and passed away in LaPine Oregon on March 29, 2021, she was 76 years old.

A graduate of Irvington High School in Fremont, Leora would become best friends there with Sharon Willoughby, whose brother would turn out to be the love of her life. She married Larry in 1965 and never looked back.

Lee enjoyed strawberries, skiing, laughter, solid hugs and the joy of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She served at the Yountville Veteran's Home and Napa State Hospital for over 20 years, and cherished the many friends she made. Always possessing a sharp wit, she loved to chat and correspond with her friends and extended family.

Lee is survived by Larry, her husband of 55 years, sons Joe and Jefferson (Allyson), grandchildren Kayla, Steven and Jackson and great-grandson Henry. She is predeceased by her son Dell James.
