Ronald Rhyno Obituary
Ron was born to Angelina Estrada and Charles Frederick Rhyno in Modesto, CA on May 19, 1941. Ron began work at Napa Valley College after working in the construction industry, in social work, and working at CSU Sacramento for one year. He worked at Napa Valley College for 37 years as a counselor, coordinator, and administrator. Ron was passionate about encouraging students to pursue their educational and career aspirations.
He also was involved in the community by being on various NVUSD and City of Napa committees, being a member of the Grand Jury 87-88 and Foreman of the Grand Jury 88-89, the Napa Valley Education Foundation, Napa County Mental Health Association, and providing support to some local political candidates.
After retirement, Ron enjoyed playing tennis, reading, and being involved in local issues, especially those that involved supporting a healthy environment.
In his life, Ron used his voice and experiences to try to help others. He believed in speaking the words that others were not able to voice in order to create change and stand up for injustice. He led a purposeful life.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Lynda; children, Danielle Savage (Mike), and Katherine Lebe (Dan); grandchildren, Charlie and Vivian Savage, and Madeline Lebe; and his brother, Donald (Cathy).

Linda and family,
So sorry to hear about Ron's passing. From time to time he would call me with mortgage questions and from time to time I would see him on the tennis court. I will miss his "to the point " questions and his great smile when playing a sport he loved.
