Alyssa Pagano Obituary
Alyssa, you were the light of our lives and your spirit will be forever in our hearts. Alyssa, you wiII be dearly missed. She is the beloved daughter of Janet and Thomas Pagano, loving sister of Louis II. Granddaughter of Eleanor Lach and Louis and Joyce Pagano, dear niece of many aunts and uncles.
Visitation Monday 3-9 pm at Gibbons Elliston Funeral Home, First and Grant St., Hinsdale. Friends will meet Tuesday at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 4th and Clay St., Hinsdale for 10 am funeral mass. Entombment at Queen of Heaven, Hillside.

Dear Pagano family,
I remember Alyssa (at LFA) as an exceptionally bright, vibrant, independent young woman. I never once heard her utter a bad word about anyone and saw how loyal she was to her dear friends. High school is such a confusing and oftentimes painful time in a young person's life, and Alyssa never waivered from who she was. I did not know her very well, but I had a great respect for her. I remember her fondness for her "funky" shoes, especially a particular pair of boots that she wore on most days.
I hope you are finding comfort in the good times. She is and always will be with you. My best wishes to the Pagano family.

I remember hanging with you in Rome and how much you loved the shopping! Then, I remember seeing you years later at John Marshall, grown up and ready to take on the world. I had the pleasure of meeting Alyssa at St. Isaac Jogues. I rememer her first day being the new kid. Unlike most new kids Alyssa stood on her own two feet, she didn't try to conform or be cool. She was bold, intelligent, and true. I will never forget her much needed recess humor after a long class with Mrs. Sculley. Even though we both attended Hinsdale Central, we didn't talk for the first two years. However, one day Alyssa was standing outside my locker. She asked me to go downtown to the musuem with her where she consolded me after I had lost one of my friends. I was amazed that she knew exactly when I needed her the most. I hadn't seen Alyssa in years, but it is no surprise to hear all of the wonderful things she has done and how many people's hearts she has touched-- I know she touched mine.

Sending the Pagano family my sincere condolences. I grew up with Alyssa and we were friends while attending Avery Coonley. Although we never got the chance to reconnect after the age of 15 and a chance meeting in driver's ed class, she will be truly missed.

Alyssa and I had the opportunity to meet through my very good friend Alexa Niehaus (formerly Tomchuck). I remember thinking that she was such a beautiful girl with a lot of spunk. I spent a little time with her and Alexa while living in Chicago, and then we both had the honor of standing by Alexa's side on her wedding day. Alyssa and I had so much fun getting to know eachother that weekend. I even stayed at her dad's house the night before the wedding. She was a very sweet and loving person. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. I know she will be deeply missed.

Dear Tom and Louis, I just heard about Alyssa's passing and I am so sorry. She was such a delightful child, and it was fun to hear you talk about her travails and successes, Tom! When I met her, I thought she was just a doll, and I was so glad to see that she was growing up into such a beautiful young woman.

To the Pagano family,
Words cannot express how I felt when I heard the news. I met Alyssa in law school, and as we shared the normal trials and tribulations that go with such an ordeal. When I proposed to my fiance, she suggested the perfect way and place. She was a special person and a special friend
My fondest memories of our time together include discussing the Cubbies. I always marveled at her ability to recite Andre Dawson's stats from 1987. But the thing I remember the most about her was her desire to make this world a better place. Her dedication to her animals and the troops are just a small sampling of her kind heart and loving spirit. I will truly miss her kindness and her sense of humor.

I haven't seen Alyssa in a few years now, but I know Alyssa was a huge Cubs fan and we had many conversations about our favorite team. I met Alyssa this summer in our trial advocacy class and in the fall, we shared our disdain of estates and trusts. We usually sat next to each and passed notes about our general confusion and our professor's attempts at jokes. She shared her excitement about her January graduation and our mutual fear of the bar exam. I was so shocked and sadden to learn of this tragic departure of such a wonderful, beautiful, kind and bright young woman. My deepest sympathies to her family and loved ones. There is little comfort to soothe such grief but know that in the short time I knew Alyssa, we shared so many laughs in addition to class notes.
