Charles M. Gabriel

Charles M. Gabriel Charles (Chuck) M. Gabriel, 64 of Naperville, IL formerly of Kewaunee, WI, passed away at his home on November 29, 2009 with his wife by his side. He was born May 11, 1945 in Kewaunee, WI. Chuck is survived by his wife Mary K. (nee Smits) Gabriel, his sister Janet (Larry) Mouty of Peshtigo, WI, his brother Don (Marcia) Gabriel of Charlotte, NC, sisters-in-law Sandy Smits of Green Bay, WI and Bonnie C. (Mike) Brosteau of DePere, WI; his nieces and nephews Steve Mouty of Sandy, UT, Mark (Kristin) Mouty of Park City UT, Rene Mouty of Green Bay, WI, Brian (Kim) Mouty of Littleton, CO, Sherrie (Mike) Schoen of Suamico, WI, Kim (Jim) Appleton, of Green Bay, WI Scott (Mary) Brosteau, and Amy (Tim) Grovogel all of DePere, WI.; and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Clara (nee Ledvina) Gabriel and his brother in-law Tom Smits. Chuck received a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1972. Chuck worked for Commonwealth Edison 27 years, and after his retirement, he volunteered at the DuPage Children's Museum in Naperville, and Hesed House soup kitchen in Aurora, IL. Memorial Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. On Saturday, December 5, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Community, in East DePere, WI followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum in Green Bay, WI.
