Dear Walgren Family.... we heard about your story concerning Cory on the ABC World News. It really made an impact on our hearts in an unusual way, and we are so very sorry for your loss.
Comfort to offer you by way of words is hard to come by. Allow us to say that we pray that the Lord has become your Strength, as He is ALWAYS good.... even when we can't understand His reasons.
We can't shake the feeling that perhaps you know what we mean.
Peace be with you, you are all in our hearts ~~

I am so devastated to learn about Corey's death. I read about him online...I did not know Corey, nor the family, but as a Mom and fellow citizen on this planet, I cannot imagine the grief the family is going through. I am so very very sorry you have this sadness in your life. Praying for healing for you.

Not a day has gone by where I haven't kept Corey in my heart. His smile is something that I will think of everyday, and I will always feel him right besides me on the ice. To the Walgren family, we are still all keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. We love you Corey.

Oh Corey. What a wonderful young man. Corey and my son, Dylan, were good friends. Corey would come over to our house to hangout with Dylan-and, sometimes spend the night. He always had a smile on his face and was very respectful to me and my family. One time, we were all joking together...Corey had me laughing so hard that I was crying! And, he could barely breathe himself! He had a great sense of humor and always brightened up any room that he was in. I'm so sorry for his loss. Mr. and Mrs. Walgren-words can't even express my condolences for you and your large family. All of Corey's friends-we will never forget. God gave us an Angel-and, eventhough He now has him back-we can thank God for the full 16 years that we were blessed to have Corey. Praying non-stop. Bless all of your hearts.

I missed playing 100's of games of ball in the back park with Corey and all of the kids as well as watching North hockey games when I could. Corey was always excited to be playing sports. Great kid!

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones shines down to let us know they are with us.
