Gerald Rowan Obituary

Gerald Thomas Rowan passed away peacefully on October 14th at the age of 92 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. A resident of Lisle, IL formerly of Warren, MI, he was never without a joke or kind word, he created happiness in all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth, their 3 daughters Sue, Barb, and Tricia. He is further survived by his four Grandchildren Gerry, Leah, Matt and Michael and by his four beloved great-grandchildren Maya, Madeline, Thomas and Aaron. A special thank you from the family to the entire staff at Abbey Lane Memory Care unit at Villa St. Benedict, for their compassionate care of him. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org/donate. Arrangements by Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S.
