Dear Dave and Family,
We are so very sorry for your loss, and mourn with you in this time of grief and sorrow. Andy was like a second father to me as well, and was a very important part of my life. He always had a kind word, a warm handshake, or a gentle grin that made you feel welcome around him at all times. He was what I would call a "gentle gentleman." I echo Jason's words when he said that "The world was a better place with Andy Austin in it..." And now, Heaven is better as well having received his spirit. Let us all remember the kind and gentle man that he was, and hope that we all possess and exhibit a small portion of his persona in our daily lives. God Bless Andy Austin.

To Dave and his family,
Words cannot express how I felt about your Dad. You know he was like a second father to me, and I will never forget him, or the great times that we all shared together. The world was a much better place with Andy Austin in it, just as heaven is now, to have such a kind gentle soul inhabiting it. My deepest sympathies Dave....

Andy was a friend. Always willing to answer my questions, always an ear for my concerns. I miss him and will always remember his kind and gentle manner and thoughtful communications.
It was my good furtune to have known him.
