Deborah Louise Smith Mumm, 51, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 in Ft. Myers, FL at Gulf Coast Medical Center. She was born May 10, 1958 in South Williamson, KY, the daughter of the late Albert and Evelyn Smith. She was the cherished wife of Alex Mumm. She was an angel nurse of 25 years, currently serving as Lead Nurse at Bentley Village. She was a loving homemaker and most importantly a wonderful wife, mother, nanny, sister, aunt and friend.
She was wife to one, Alex Mumm; sister to two, Amaryllis (Larry) Charles and Melody (Greg) Wagner; aunt to five; mother to seven, Pascha (Kenny) Coonradt, Seth (Jina) Fields, Elizabeth Mumm, Aimee (Aaron) Collins, Jeremy (Amanda) Mumm, Melinda (Michael) Fairbanks, and Jamie (Andrew) Torrance; Nanny to fourteen, Kendra and Marlee Coonradt, Peyton and Levi Fields, Landen, Hailey Joy and Hunter Collins, Erica, Belle and Alex Mumm, Leanna, Marc, Jeremy and Michael Fairbanks; and a friend to many.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 6:30 P.M. at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail South, Bonita Springs, FL. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5:00 until the time of the service.
Please do NOT send flowers. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, http://honor.americanheart .org/goto/DebMumm.

Dear Alex and family, when you love someone, they are always with you in heart , if not in body, all the memories you have made with Debbie will comfort you as the years go by, accept the comfort friends and loved ones want to give to you, and know that you are loved.
