Gerald T. Madden Naples, FL

Gerald T. "Jerry" Madden, 64 of Naples, formerly of North Smithfield, RI, died September 24, 2008. Jerry was born in Providence, RI the son of the late Anna (Arrigan) and Joseph H. Roy. He received his associate degree in accounting from Johnson and Wales. He served as Vice President of Computer Operations for CVS/Caremark for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He served on the Board of Directors of the Woonsocket Y.M.C.A., Jerry was an avid Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics fan. In March of 1999 he moved to Naples from Rhode Island.

Mr. Madden is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Constance "Connie" (Lacouture) Madden of Naples; his son Matthew of San Francisco, CA; his father, Joseph H. Roy; his stepsister, Jeanne T. Mathieu; and his step brother, Neil B. Lambert

A memorial service celebrating his life will be conducted in the Hodges-Chapel of the Naples Memorial Funeral Home, 525 111th Avenue North on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.

In his memory, memorial contributions may be made to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105
