Gordon Schore Obituary
Naples, FL
Gordy Schore, age 77, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 after battling lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife Suzanne, children Heather and Jon Wenzel, Lisa and David Flader, Linda and Don Gallup, Tom and Kathleen Craig, Kelly and Bryan Fangel and 17 grandchildren.
Gordy is a veteran of the Navy, worked in mortgage banking and spent the last 11 years as a CSD with the Collier County Sheriff's Department. He loved working with his colleagues and serving the community.
Services will be held Monday at Saint Agnes Catholic Church at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Collier County Sheriff's Department Officer Safety Program.

Dear Sue,Mike and I wanted to send our deepest sympathy for your loss. Even though we have only been a part of Countryside for a few years, the cook out you guys organized made us feel right at home. Gordy was a mentor to me. He hired me at Northland Mortgage and was always warm, considerate and fair. I always remember his laugh. He and Sue invited me over a couple times to swim in his pool. He loved sitting out in the sun. I understood why he moved to Florida. We would talk every five years or so once he moved. Gordy was always friendly. I guess we are only travelers on this earth. The day will come when I see him in the Lord's Kingdom.
