James A. Gebbie Naples, FL
James A. Gebbie, 55, of Naples, FL, passed away on December 8, 2012, peace fully at Avow Hospice with his family by his side.
He was born in Cleveland, OH on March 10, 1957. James enjoyed weekend camping trips, golfing and riding his Harley with his wife and friends often. James was a man who was considered a Best Friend by many. He was an active Board member at the Florida Sports Park for twelve years, where he volunteered much of his time with the Swamp Buggy Races here in Naples.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Sheila, after 33 wonderful years together; his daughter, Amanda; son, Colin; and granddaughter, Audree. He is also survived by his mothers, Florence Gebbie and Marjorie Throne; step-father, Russell Throne; siblings, John (wife-Cathy) Jessie St. Christopher, Bob (wifeMarley) and Ron (wifeAnnie)
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Gebbie.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 13, 2012, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, Fl 34109.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of James to Avow Hospice of Naples 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL, 34105.

I knew Jim in the 70's .
We clevelanders stuck together. I saw him again in the mid 90's visiting Naples. What a gr8 guy. He will be. sorely missed...

Ingrid and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Jim. He was a good father and a kind man and will be sorely missed by all who knew him we have lost a true friend and one hell of a man. I believe he is with us all still in the way that he made all our lives better and brighter and that light will never diminish.

They say only the good die young. In this case it's sad but true! I have only great memories of Jim! He was always happy and quick to lend a hand to those less fortunate. My heart breaks for you all!
