Patsy Downing Obituary

Patsy Jean Downing Naples, FL

Patsy Jean Downing, 76 of Naples died on January 11, 2014. She was born in Page, WV on June 3, 1937 to the late Carl and Ethel May (Christian) Vest. She moved to Naples in 1977.

Patsy was a beloved member of the Avalon Elementary School family for 32 years, retiring in 2010.

She was a giving, loving person who always put her family first and will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her beloved children; Rick Downing, Sue (Steve) Chandler, Linda (Rick) Haberlin; grandchildren, Mac (Julia) Blackwell, Samantha Blackwell, Joe Haberlin, Kate Haberlin and a great-grandson; Jeremiah Blackwell.

Burial arrangements are private.

A Memorial Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at North Naples United Methodist Church, 6000 GoodletteFrank Road, Naples, FL 34109.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patsy's name may be made to the family for the Avalon Elementary School's 2014 Holiday House.
