Robert Doyle Obituary
Naples, FL
Robert Doyle, 87, of Naples Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his home. Born in Fairfield, CT to Thomas E. Doyle and Jennie Casey, he lived most of his life in Fairfield and Naples, Florida.
Bob served his country in the Korean War as a member of the Navy. He was a soft-spoken man who enjoyed golf with a wide group of friends. He worked in the steel industry as a salesman throughout New England and was known as the master of the soft-sell. He was served as president of his condo association and loved managing the property and working with others to improve their community. Bob was a friend of Bill's for over 45 years.
Bob was extremely loving and proud of his two children, Carole Doyle of Dallas and Jonathan Doyle of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by his brother Peter Doyle, of Fairfield, CT; his wife of over 64 years Dorothy Doyle of Naples; as well as his four grandchildren, Jack Doyle, Chelsea Rose Doyle, William Doyle and Patrick Doyle.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM, Monday, December 11, 2017 at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 5131 Rattlesnake Hammock Road, Naples Florida. Memorial donations may be made in Robert's name to Avow Hospice Care, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105.

My sincere condolences to Dottie, Carole, Jonathan and family. I am blessed to have had Bob in my life. He was a longtime and true friend, a gentleman and gentle soul. I will always remember his infectious laugh when something tickled his funny bone. I will greatly miss him.

Dottie,
I'm so sorry for the loss of Bob; one of my closest and dearest friends. We had many good years together. And I will miss him, there will be a void in my life. I will always want to pick up the phone and just say "hi, how ya doing".
I regret not being able to attend his service but please know Dottie, your sons and family that he will be in my thoughts and prayers all day.
