Terry Tolson Obituary
Bonita Springs, FL
Terry L. Tolson, 76, of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Rochester, PA, went to be with his Lord on January 18, 2016.
Terry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dolores Marusic Tolson, and their three children: Terri Lee Tavernaris (Jon) of Staunton, VA; Robin DiGiulio (Vinny) of Burbank, CA; and Mark Tolson (Patty) of Naples, FL.
He was employed by the Beaver County Times in 1957 and became Advertising Director in 1971. He held that position until he retired in November 2004.
In 2005, he and his wife, Dee, retired to Florida where he enjoyed golfing, fishing, beautiful sunsets and the company of many dear friends and family.
He doted on his seven grandchildren who call him Pappy: Sarah, Nathan, Ryan, Danielle, Olivia, Molly, and Macy; with one great-grandson, Liam, on the way. They all held a special place in his heart.
Terry deeply loved and cared for his family. He was a man of great character, wisdom, and integrity, with an unmatched sense of humor. His presence on earth will be missed, but we rejoice for he is in heaven and we will see him again someday.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 28, at 6:00 p.m. at Destiny Church Naples, 6455 Hidden Oaks Lane, Naples. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Destiny Church Naples building fund.
